ELM LANE YOUNG FIREFIGHTERS SCHEME

The aim of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is to provide a Young Firefighters scheme to young people with meaningful activities and fun in their spare time. The scheme aims to develop their character and potential during the vital transition from childhood to adulthood. The Fire Service has long been recognised as an excellent team-building organisation with staff who are positive role models within the communities they serve. Therefore, it is also the aim of this scheme to help young people grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
